Current 7th Grade Only: PE Peer Buddy Opportunity

Next school year, your student has the opportunity to be part of Granger’s PE Peer Buddies program. The Peer Buddies PE class is a modified physical education class, which if selected would replace your students regular education PE class, during the following school year.

The PE Peer Buddies program connects students from general education with students from our special education program in this adapted PE class. During this inclusive class, all students will engaged in fun, active PE skills and games together. Your student would serve as positive peer role model while developing leaderships skills through interactions with students who have various learning and physical challenges.

If you student would like to participate in the PE Peer Buddy program please complete the following steps:

• Students must enroll in Google classroom using the classroom code qhbbl. (In order to be considered for the program an application and parent consent form must be completed on Google Classroom)

• Application and Parent/Guardian Consent forms are due by Friday, February 1st. No applications will be accepted after 2/1/19

Please note: Class size is limited, students will be notified if they are selected to be in the program by the end of this school year. Students who are enrolled in chorus cannot apply for peer buddies, due to scheduling conflicts.
