Attention Granger Readers!
Author Ridley Pearson will be at Granger on May 2nd thanks to Anderson's Bookshops in Naperville.
He will be stopping at Granger on his Kingdom Keepers Tour. He just released Book 5 of the series, but all of the books are great reads and available for purchase through the LMC. All students who purcahse books through the Granger LMC will get the chance to come down to the library and meet and talk with Ridley Pearson while he is at Granger. In addition, students who purchase books will be entered into a raffle for a chance to join Ridley Pearson for a roundtable pizza lunch.
The Kingdom Keepers series is set in Walt Disney World. It is the story of five middle school students who are selected to be the models for Disney's newest invention, Disney Hosts Interactive. The kids think they are becoming Hollographic Guides for the Disney Parks, but really they are needed for a much bigger purpose. There is danger in the park. There is a group of Overtakers looking to not only take over Disney but the world outside, and the kids will be needed to take down the Overtakers and keep Disney the happiest place on earth.
Filled with Disney Parks as the setting and Disney secrets from all of the author's research, this series is full of adventure, action, fantasy, friendship, and fun. It is a great read for girls and boys alike, and it is a favorite series in the Granger library.

Granger is selling the first four books in the series in paperback ($8.99 each) and the newest release in hardcover for $17.99. Book summaries and order forms are attached. All book orders need to be turned into Mrs. White in the LMC by Monday, May 1st.
