Granger Grant Winners

Reported by julia_alsirt@ipsd.org on 11/17/17

Congratulations to Cindy Chejfec and Erin Wash for receiving an IPEF grant for $1263 for their grant titled “Only One You!”

Their project is a literacy-based initiative that will encourage students, parents and staff to read the book “Only One You” and then take part in creating a rock garden outside the school entrance that will tie in themes and represent words of advice for making our world a better place.

The Indian Prairie Educational Foundation was established in 1988 to enrich education in District 204. The IPEF has given away more than $800,000 in grants to staff through their annual grants program. You can visit https://www.ipef204.org/grant-recipients/ to see the full list of grant recipients for the 2017-18 school year. Grants are made possible thanks to parents who contribute to the IPEF on their registration form and through the efforts of Team IPEF. Granger has received 16 grants totaling more than $8100 in the past six years from the IPEF.
