PTSA Thank You!

Reported by on 5/15/18

As we wrap up the final days of the 2017-18 school year, the PTSA would like to thank everyone who donated their resources and volunteered their time to help the PTSA achieve its goal of making Granger a better place for all of our Grizzlies. With your help, the PTSA was able to support our students with grants, including: LMC events - summer reading party, Caudill party, and One Book One School— New Wickets for our Cricket Club— Physical Education Equipment for our new adaptive P.E. Program— Audible Books so that all students were able to participate in the B.O.B. experience— Cooking Supplies for our P.A.C.E. students to enjoy cooking experiences— Contribution to the Spring Musical for the rental of lighting and sound equipment— Purchase of new books for our reading intervention students. In addition to grants, the PTSA provides money to each grade level team, for each student, to be utilized as classroom incentives or for a little extra classroom fun. The PTSA recently executed an AMAZING, week long, Staff Appreciation event. A special shout out to MaryAnn Dichoso, and her committee, for bringing the tropical Hawaiian feel to Granger last week. We will wrap up our final event of the year as we celebrate our 8th graders and throw a picnic for the Granger class of 2018 on May 31st. GO GRIZZLIES!

Please join us for our final PTSA meeting of the 2017-18 school year. We will be meeting this Friday, May 18th at 9:30am in the Staff Lounge at Granger. We will be discussing status of 8th grade picnic planning, setting our summer budget, electing an audit committee, and having elections for the 2018-19 PTSA Executive Board. The nominating committee will once again present their recommended slate. Nominations will also be taken from the floor prior to the official election taking place. We look forward to seeing you there!

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, ideas, or concerns that you might have.
